Academic Turkish in Line with European Joint Language Criteria
Our Turkish for Foreigners course consists of 6 levels, namely A1, A2 (Basic); B1, B2 (Intermediate); C1, C2 (Advanced).
Our subjects are given in U-desk classrooms with projection devices, by a team of specialized lecturers. During the classes, our students are involved in drama, creative enactment, role play, dictation, speaking in living language activities and take part in cultural trips. At the end of each level, level completion tests take place to assess four language skills, namely Listening-Reading-Speaking-Writing.
Weekday Morning Program 120 hours 6 weeks 5 days a week 4 hours a day
Weekday Evening Program 120 hours 6 weeks 5 days a week 4 hours a day
Weekend Morning Program 90 hours 9 weeks 2 days a week 5 hours a day
Weekend Evening Program 80 hours 10 weeks 2 days a week 4 hours a day
Students wishing to start at a level other than A1 will sit a Proficiency Test and be placed accordingly. Classes are kept to a maximum of 15 students.
Turkish Scholarship Test will be held for our general Turkish classes at dates to be confirmed by Turqua. The test consists of written and oral stages. The successful students in need will become eligible to receive scholarship in Turkish classes at different levels.
In the classes, Turqua materials are being used along with existing Turkish teaching sources. Furthermore, Istanbul, Turkish for Foreigners Book is used in some private institutions or groups, and these classes are assisted by our own materials and other printed/digital Turkish teaching materials.
Based on the results of the tests held at the end of each level, our students will be granted TÖMER certificate that indicates their proficiency in Turkish and is valid all over the world.
